MINUTES

Representative Youakim, Chair of the Property Tax Division, called the remote meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on March 4, 2021, pursuant to House Rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Marquart moved the approval of the March 3, 2021 minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1301 (Murphy) Hermantown local sales and use tax authority modified

Representative Her moved that HF 1301 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Murphy presented the bill.

Representative Her renewed her motion that HF 1301 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

HF 1179 (Edelson) Edina; local sales and use tax authority modified

Representative Hassan moved that HF 1179 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Edelson presented the bill.

Representative Marquart moved that HF 1610 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Poston presented the bill.

Representative Marquart renewed his motion that HF 1610 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

HF 187 (Lillie) Oakdale local sales and use tax authorized

Representative Hertaus moved that HF 187 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division Report.

Representative Hertaus moved that the HF 187 A1 amendment be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Lillie presented the bill.

Representative Sandstede presented the bill.
