MINUTES


Representative Hausman, Chair of the Housing Finance and Policy Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 10:30 A.M. on April 6, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative HOWARD moved to approve the minutes from April 5, 2022. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4376(Hausman); Governor's supplemental housing budget funding provided, Minnesota Housing Finance Agency funding provided, housing income discrimination investigation by Department of Human Rights funding provided, community stabilization housing program established, and strengthening supportive housing model program established.

Representative HAUSMAN moved that HF4367 be re-referred to the committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Hausman introduced an amendment to HF4367, the DE2 amendment.

Representative HAUSMAN moved to adopt the DE2 amendment.

Representative Hausman introduced an amendment to the DE2 amendment, the A5 amendment.

Representative HAUSMAN moved to adopt the A5 amendment to the DE2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Heinrich introduced an amendment to the DE2 amendment, the A6 amendment.

Representative HEINRICH moved to adopt the A6 amendment to the DE2 amendment. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL. THE AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Representative HAUSMAN renewed her motion to adopt the DE2 amendment, as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative HAUSMAN renewed her motion that HF4376, as amended, be re-referred to the committee on Ways and Means. A roll call was taken, and the results were as follows:
