HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES NINETY-SECOND SESSION

COMMERCE FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

Representative Kotyza-Witthuhn, Chair of the Commerce Finance and Policy Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 3:00PM on April 6th, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

Representative Stephenson moved to approve the minutes from the committee meeting on April 5th, 2022. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3607 (Stephenson); - Vehicle Bill - the DE amendment to HF3607 will be the Commerce Omnibus Bill - Commerce department enforcement powers modified, market conduct examinations regulated, and report required.

Representative Stephenson moved that HF3607 be recommended to be referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Stephenson moved the A22-0406 (Stephenson) amendment.

Representative Stephenson moved the A4 (Stephenson) amendment to the amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Stephenson moved the A6 (Stephenson) amendment to the amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Stephenson moved the A10 (Stephenson) amendment to the amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Stephenson moved the A12 (Stephenson) amendment to the amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Stephenson moved the A13 (Stephenson) amendment to the amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Stephenson renewed his motion that the A22-0406 (Stephenson) amendment be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED, AS AMENDED.

Representative Stephenson renewed his motion that HF3607 be recommended to be referred to the Committee on Ways and Means, as amended. The clerk took the roll.
