COMMERCE FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

MINUTES
Representative Zack Stephenson, Chair of the Commerce Finance and Policy Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 3:00 PM on March 23, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

A quorum was present.

Representative O’Driscoll moved to approve the minutes from the committee meeting on March 19, 2020. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Dr. Bruce Corrie, Concordia University St. Paul, presented “The Economic Cost of Systemic Racism & the Minnesota Solution.”

Ron Elwood, Legal Services Advocacy Project
Anna Odegaard, Minnesota Asset Building Coalition

HF2146 (Kotyza-Witthuhn); Minnesota Council on Economic Education grants provided, report required, and money appropriated.

Representative Kotyza-Witthuhn moved HF2146 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

The bill was laid over.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:24 PM.
