MINUTES

Representative Nelson, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:03 AM, March 14, 2019 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

The following gave an overview of the Governor’s Proposed Budget for the Office of the State Auditor for Fiscal Year 2020 – 2021:
The Honorable Julie Blaha, State Auditor
Matt Lindemann, Budget and Finance Director

HF 2118 (Koegel); National Sports Center funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Chair Nelson made a procedural motion to return HF2118 to Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Quam moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 13th, 2019 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The following gave an overview of the Governor’s Proposed Budget for the Office of the Attorney General for Fiscal Year 2020 – 2021:
The Honorable Keith Ellison, Attorney General
Ray Smith, Director of Finance

The meeting was adjourned at 9:37 AM.
