GREATER MINNESOTA JOBS AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FINANCE DIVISION MINUTES

Representative Gene Pelowski, Chair of the Committee on Greater Minnesota Jobs and Economic Development Finance Division, called the virtual meeting to order at 12:45 PM on April 27, 2020 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Pelowski moved that the minutes of March 2, 2020, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Pelowski moved that HF 3029 be referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Pelowski moved that the H3029DE1 amendment be adopted for the author. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Ecklund presented HF 3029 as amended, a bill for an act relating to telecommunications; establishing a grant program for distance learning equipment; establishing a grant program for telemedicine equipment purchased to deal with COVID-19; requiring reports; appropriating money.
