MINUTES

Representative Jean Wagenius, Chair of the Energy and Climate Finance & Policy Division, called the first meeting to order at 9:47 A.M. on, February 28, 2019, in room 120 of the Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll. A quorum was present.

Steve Kelly, Commissioner for the Department of Commerce, presented to the committee an overview on the Governor’s Budget.

Joe Sullivan, Deputy Commissioner for the Department of Commerce, answered questions related to the Governor’s Budget overview.

HF 1683 (Long) Energy usage data maintained by utilities access rights provided.

Representative Long moved that HF 1683 be laid over for possible inclusion.

Representative Halverson assumed the gavel at 10:27 A.M.

Representative Swedzinski moved the HF1683A1 amendment. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Representative Garafalo called for a division. There being 5 AYES and 8 NAYS THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Representative Swedzinski moved the HF1683A2 amendment. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Representative Stephenson moved adoption of the February 26, 2019 minutes.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Wagenius laid over HF 1683 for possible inclusion.

The meeting adjourned at 11:18 A.M.
