MINUTES

Representative Jean Wagenius, Chair of the Energy and Climate Finance & Policy Division, called the first meeting to order at 9:46 A.M. on, February 19, 2019, in room 120 of the Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll. A quorum was present.

Representative Stephenson moved adoption of the February 14, 2019 minutes.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1133 (Acomb) - Solar energy systems installation on school buildings by school districts grant program established, account and a reserve account created, and money appropriated.

Representative Acomb moved that HF1133 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means with a recommendation that it be referred to the Division on Education Finance.

Representative Acomb moved the HF1133DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Acomb moved an oral amendment to HF1133DE1 as follows:
Page 2, line 31, delete “greater” and insert “less”. THE ORAL AMENDMENT WAS INCORPORATED.

Representative Swedzinski moved that HF1133 be tabled. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.

Representative Acomb renewed the motion that HF1133, as amended, be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means with a recommendation that it be referred to the Division on Education Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1148 (Christensen) - Energy conservation revolving loan fund established in schools, and money appropriated.

Representative Christensen moved that HF1148 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means Committee with a recommendation that it be referred to the Division on Education Finance.

Representative Christensen moved the HF1148A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Christensen moved the HF1148A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
