MINUTES

Representative Hansen, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance Division, called the meeting to order at 12:45 P.M. on January 22nd, 2019, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Hansen called the meeting to order at 12:45 P.M. A quorum was present at 12:48 P.M.

Representative Sundin moved to adopt the minutes of January 17th, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Mary Robison, Chief Financial Officer, Department of Natural Resources, provided testimony on the impact of the federal government shutdown on department programs.

Bob Meier, Assistant Commissioner, Department of Natural Resources, provided supplemental information on the impact of the federal government shutdown.

Angie Becker-Kudelka, Assistant Director, Board of Water and Soil Resources, provided testimony on the impact of the federal government shutdown on department programs.

Greta Gauthier, Assistant Commissioner, and Joshua Bunker, Chief Financial Officer, Pollution Control Agency, provided testimony on the impact of the federal government shutdown on agency programs.

Chair Hansen allowed Representative Peggy Scott to join the table.

Greta Gauthier, Assistant Commissioner, and Hans Neve, Section Manager, Pollution Control Agency, provided testimony and overview on the Waste Disposal Engineering Closed Landfill project in Andover.

Jamie Wallerstedt, Supervisor, Pollution Control Agency, provided additional information on the project.

Chair Hansen stated that these presentations would be made available on the committee website.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:15 P.M.
