MINUTES

Representative Pinto, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:07 am on March 21st, 2019 in Capitol Room 120.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Bahner moved that the minutes from March 19th, 2019 be approved. The motion prevailed.

Representative Pryor assumed the gavel at 8:09 am.

HF1230 (Pinto) – Early learning scholarships eligibility modified, and voluntary prekindergarten programs expanded to give groups.

Chair Pinto moved that HF1230, as amended, be placed on the General Register.

Chair Pinto presented HF1230, as amended.

Chair Pinto renewed the motion that HF1230, as amended, be placed on the General Register. The motion prevailed.

HF2463 (Pinto) – Early childhood, child care, and family support program eligibility, participation, and requirements modified.

Chair Pinto moved that HF2463 be laid over for possible inclusion in an Early Childhood Division Report.

Chair Pinto presented HF2463.

HF2319 (Pinto) – Human services program integrity modified, criminal penalties created, and money appropriated.

Chair Pinto moved that HF2319 be laid over for possible inclusion in an Early Childhood Division Report.

Chair Pinto moved that the H2319A1-2 amendment be added to HF2319. The motion prevailed.

Chair Pinto presented HF2319, as amended.

Chair Pinto continued to present HF2319, as amended.

Vice-Chair Kotyza-Witthuhn renewed the motion that HF2319, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in an Early Childhood Division Report. The bill was laid over.

Chair Pinto assumed the gavel at 6:48 pm.

HF1680 (Demuth) – Child care assistance program record-keeping requirements clarified.

Representative Demuth moved that HF1680 be laid over for possible inclusion in an Early Childhood Division Report.

Representative Demuth presented HF1680.
