Representative Cheryl Youakim, Chair of the Committee, called the remote Education Policy Committee meeting to order at 2:32 P.M. on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

Representative Christensen moved that the minutes of April 8, 2020 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 2383 (Sandstede) School trust lands director provisions modified.
Representative Kunesh-Podein moved that HF 2383 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.
Representative Sandstede presented HF 2383 and took questions on the bill.
Aaron Vande Linde, Director of the Office of School Trust Lands, testified regarding HF 2383.
Chair Youakim renewed Representative Kunesh-Podein’s motion that HF 2383 be recommended to be placed on the General Register. The Committee Legislative Assistant took the roll on the motion:
