Representative Knoblach, Chair of the Ways & Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:04 PM on Thursday, February 8, 2018 in the Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Carlson moved that the minutes of December 6, 2017 be approved.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The Committee received an update from the Department of Human Services Budget Analyst, Dave Greeman on Minnesota Care (basic health plan) funding and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) reauthorization.

House Researcher, Colbey Sullivan, House Fiscal Analyst, Bill Marx, and Minnesota Management and Budget Commissioner Myron Frans, discussed the issue of continuing appropriations.

Representative Randy Jessup provided an overview of HFXXXX (Jessup) regarding the issue of continuing appropriations.

HFXXXX was discussed for informational purposes only.




The meeting was adjourned at 4:05PM
