MINUTES

Representative Knoblach, Chair of the Ways & Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:20AM on Monday, February 20, 2017 in the Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Knoblach called the meeting to order at 10:20AM a quorum was present.

Representative Carlson moved that the minutes of February 15, 2017 be approved
MOTION PREVAILED

Representative Knoblach moved HF400 be sent to the General Register

HF400 (Ron Kresha) Vendor required to not engage in discrimination against Israel

Representative Kresha presented HF400
Barry Cohen, a St. Paul resident testified against HF400
Representative Hornstein offered the D3 Amendment
Representative Hornstein withdrew D3 Amendment

Representative Knoblach renewed his motion to refer HF400 to the General Register
MOTION PREVAILED

Representative Knoblach introduced Jennifer Hassmer, Assistant Commissioner for the MN Department of Management and Budget

Jennifer Hassmer made a presentations on Debt Capacity Forecast and Minnesota’s use of Appropriation Bonds

The meeting was adjourned at 12:00PM
