MINUTES

Representative Davids, Chair of the Taxes Committee, began the meeting at 10:40 AM, on March 9, 2017, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davids officially called the meeting to order at 10:41 AM. A quorum was present.

HF1978 (Olson) Nonprofit corporations operating ice arenas or ice rinks used primarily for youth and high school programs exemption provided.

Representative Davids moved HF1978 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill

Representative Davids moved the H1978A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Davids renewed his motion that HF1978, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Schultz moved the minutes from March 8, 2017 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF968 (Nornes) Clay target exemption provided.

Representative Davids moved HF968 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Davids moved HF1304 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF1360 (McDonald) Herbicide purchase exemption created.

Representative McDonald moved HF1360 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative McDonald moved the H1360A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
