MINUTES

Representative Davids, Chair of the Taxes Committee, began the meeting at 10:15 AM, on March 8, 2017, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davids officially called the meeting to order at 10:23 AM. A quorum was present.

Representative Schultz moved the minutes from March 7, 2017 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF1631 (Quam) Health plan-covered items and durable medical equipment exemption provided.

Representative Davids moved HF1631 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Davids renewed his motion that HF1631 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF54 (Quam) Internet service machinery and equipment exemption provided.

Representative Davids moved HF54 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Davids moved the H54A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Davids renewed his motion that HF54, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF115 (Newberger) First Responder meal expense subtraction allowed.

Representative Davids moved HF115 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Davids renewed his motion that HF115 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF1869 (Jessup) Higher education expense contributions subtraction allowed and refundable credit established, and money appropriated.

Representative Davids moved HF1869 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF315 (Anderson) Tax credit for parental leave costs allowed.
