MINUTES

Representative Davids, Chair of the Taxes Committee, began the meeting at 10:15 AM, on March 7, 2017, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davids officially called the meeting to order at 10:21 AM. A quorum was present.

Representative Schultz moved the minutes from March 2, 2017 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF479 (Swedzinski) Motor vehicle purchases by local governments exemption expanded, and technical changes made.

Representative Davids moved HF479 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Davids moved HF460 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Davids moved the H460A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Koznick moved the H901A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Davids moved HF638 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Davids moved the H638A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Davids reconvened the meeting at 5:00 PM, on March 7, 2017, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

HF5 (Davids) State-operated reinsurance program created, and money appropriated.

Representative Davids moved that HF5 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.

Representative Davids moved the H5A11 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Schultz moved the H5A13 amendment.

Representative Schultz withdrew the H5A13 amendment.
