MINUTES

Representative Fabian, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 AM on February 9th, 2017, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Fabian called the meeting to order at 8:15 AM. A quorum was present.

Representative Ecklund moved to adopt the minutes of February 7th, 2017. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Fabian moved to reconsider HF 586 (Drazkowski). THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Fabian moved to re-refer HF 586 (Drazkowski) to the Legacy Funding Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 434 (Fabian) Allowing certain temporary conditions for wetland replacement for local government roads.

Representative Fabian moved HF 434 to be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Fabian moved the H434DE2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Fabian renewed the motion that HF 434 as amended be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Tom Landwehr, Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, and Barb Juelich, Chief Financial Officer, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, provided an overview of the 2018-2019 Department Budget Request.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 AM.
