MINUTES

Representative Joe Hoppe, Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM on March 6, 2018, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Barr moved to approve the minutes from February 28, 2018. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3158 (Anselmo) Mortgage loan originator licensing requirements modified.

Chair Hoppe moved that HF3158 be re-referred to the General Register.

Chair Hoppe renewed the motion that HF3158 be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2884 (Anderson, P.) Sales of off-sale alcoholic beverages excluded when determining a food handler license fee.

Chair Hoppe moved that HF2884 be re-referred to the Agriculture Finance Committee.

Chair Hoppe renewed the motion that HF2884 be re-referred to the Agriculture Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2869 (Howe) National Guard members provided access to information regarding state-sponsored life insurance program.

Chair Hoppe moved that HF2869 be re-referred to the General Register.

Chair Hoppe renewed the motion that HF2869 be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2779 (Anderson, S.) Optometrist service payment and contract requirements specified.

Representative Anderson moved that HF2779 be re-referred to the General Register.

Chair Hoppe moved the H3032A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
