MINUTES

Representative Joe Hoppe, Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee began the meeting at 3:00 PM on March 8th, 2017, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Hoppe officially called the meeting to order at 3:07 PM. A quorum was present.

Representative Barr moved that HF1418 be re-referred to the State Government Finance Committee.

National Football League training site on-sale license authorized.

Representative Barr moved that HF1740 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative O’Driscoll moved that HF1436 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative Kresha moved the H0068A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Anderson moved an oral amendment to the H0068DE1 amendment: strike Section 16. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Kresha requested a roll call vote on HF0068, as amended.

Representative Hilstrom moved an oral amendment to the H0068DE1 amendment: line 3.23, strike the underlined language and reinsert the stricken language. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.

A division was requested by Representative Hilstrom. A division was called. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.

Chair Hoppe renewed the motion that HF0068, as amended, be re-referred to the General Register.
