Representative Pat Garofalo, Chair of the Job Growth & Energy Affordability Policy & Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:45 P.M. on Monday, March 9, 2015, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Garofalo called the meeting to order at 12:45 P.M. A quorum was present.
Representative Hortman moved to approve the minutes from the previous hearing. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Gunther assumed the gavel at 1:16 P.M.
Representative Garofalo assumed the gavel at 1:22 P.M.
HF333 (Newberger) Legislative approval of a state plan to comply with federal regulations regarding emissions from existing power plans required.
Representative Newberger; Joel Johnson, Minnesota Rural Electric Association; J. Drake Hamilton, Fresh Energy; Greta Gauthier, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Legislative Director; Frank Kohlasch, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Air Assessment Section Manager; Bob Ryan, United Steelworkers; Mike Cashin, Minnesota Power; Loren Laugtug, Otter Tail Power Company; Mark Ourada, American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity; Benjamin Gerber, Minnesota Chamber of Commerce; Henriet Hendriks, House Fiscal Analyst; Fred Guercio, Citizen; all testified on HF333, as introduced.
Representative Newberger moved that HF333 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. Representative Scott requested a roll call vote. The results were as follows:
