MINUTES

Representative Sanders, Chair of the Government Operations and Election Policy, called the meeting to order at 10:17 AM on February 11, 2015 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Pugh moved to approve the minutes from February 10, 2015.

THE MOTION PREVAILED

HF 488 (Knoblach) Labor agreements and compensation plans ratified.

The following testified on HF 488:

Chair Sanders moved that HF 488 be re-referred to Committee on State Government Finance.

THE MOTION PREVAILED

HF 172 (Lesch) Uniform Faithful Presidential Electors Act enacted, and conforming changes made.

Chair Sanders moved that HF 172 be laid over for possible inclusion in an elections omnibus bill.

Representative Tim O’Driscoll assumed the gavel at 10:51 AM

HF 337 (Sanders) Campaign finance and public disclosure board provisions modified; enforcement, registration, fees, data, contributions, statements of economic interest, and other provisions administered by the board modified; penalties provided; and technical changes made.

Chair Sanders moved to amend HF 337 (See attached amendment A15-0035)
