MINUTES

Representative Scott called the meeting to order at 10:19 AM on March 29, 2016 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Albright moved to approve the minutes from March 24, 2016.

Representative Nelson moved to amend HF3123 (See attached amendment H3123A4).

HF3123 was laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Chair Sanders assumed the gavel at 10:56 AM.

HF2959 (McNamara) In-person absentee ballot alternative method authorized.

Chair Sanders moved to amend HF2497 (See attached amendment H2497DE3).

THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED

Chair Sanders moved to orally amend HF2497 as follows:

Page 5, delete lines 1 to 3 and insert:

“Effective date. This section is effective July 1, 2016, and applies to temporary conditional use permit applications made under this section on or after that date.”

Page 7, delete lines 28 to 30 and insert:

“Effective date. This section is effective July 1, 2016, and applies to temporary conditional use permit applications made under this section on or after that date.”

Chair Sanders moved to place HF2497, as amended, on the General Register.

Chair Sanders moved to re-refer HF2344, as amended, to Public Safety Policy and Finance Committee.

Chair Sanders moved to amend HF2740 (See attached amendment H2470A2).

Chair Sanders moved to re-refer HF2740, as amended, to Health and Human Services Finance Committee.

Representative Albright moved to reconsider HF3209.

THE MOTION PREVAILED

HF3209 (Hackbarth) Lead shot hunting restrictions prohibited.

Chair Sanders moved to place HF3209 on the General Register.
