MINUTES

Representative Joe Hoppe, Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:55 p.m. on February 24th, 2015, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Loonan moved that the minutes of February 18, 2015 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF776 (Sanders) Voice-over-Internet protocol service and Internet protocol-enabled service regulation prohibited.

Representative Sanders moved that HF776 be sent to the General Register.

Representative Sanders moved to adopt the H0776A2 amendment.

Chair Hoppe incorporated a modification to the H0776A2 amendment as follows: Line 1.1 strike 446 and insert 776.

Chair Hoppe renewed the motion on the H0776A2, as modified. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Loonan moved to adopt the A15-0071(Loonan) amendment to HF776.

Representative Loonan withdrew his motion.

Chair Hoppe moved to lay HF776, as amended, on the table.

HF1066 (Kresha) Competitive market regulation for local exchange carriers provided.

Representative Kresha moved that HF1066 be sent to the General Register.

Representative Kresha moved the H1066DE1 (Kresha) amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Kresha moved the H1066A1 (Kresha) amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
