MINUTES

Representative Carlson, Chair of the Ways and Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:05 A.M. on Monday, March 10, 2014, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Huntley moved approval of the minutes of Tuesday, March 4, 2014. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

Chair Carlson moved that HF2480, First Engrossment, be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Rep. Selcer presented HF2480, First Engrossment (Selcer) School Nutrition Program

Chair Carlson renewed the motion that HF2480, First Engrossment, be recommended to be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Carlson moved that HF1874, First Engrossment, be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Rep. Persell presented HF1874, First Engrossment (Persell) Environmental and natural resources trust fund appropriations provided, Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources provisions modified, and trust fund land acquisition requirements modified.

Susan Thornton, Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR), testified on HF1874, First Engrossment.

Rep. Holberg moved to amend HF1874, First Engrossment, as follows:

Page 33, line 23, delete everything after the period
Page 33, delete lines 24-29

THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Carlson renewed the motion that HF1874, First Engrossment, as amended, be recommended to be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
