MINUTES

Representative Paymar, Chair of Committee on Public Safety Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 10:05 a.m. in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Rep. Kelly moved that the minutes of the March 21, 2013 meeting be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

H.F. 759 (Savick) Volunteer first responder credit provided.

Rep. Savick moved that H.F. 759 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

Testifying on behalf of H.F. 759 were:
Chief Ken Prillaman - Minnesota State Fire Chiefs Association; Minnesota State Fire Departments Association
Buck McAlpin - Minnesota Ambulance Association

Rep. Rosenthal assumed the chair at 10:20 a.m.

Rep. Savick renewed her motion that H.F. 759 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:22 a.m.
