COMMITTEE ON LABOR, WORKPLACE, AND REGULATED INDUSTRIES

MINUTES

Representative Sheldon Johnson, Chair of the Labor, Workplace, and Regulated Industries Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:20 A.M. on March 19, 2014, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Metsa moved that the minutes of March 13, 2014 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2447 (Falk) Employers required to provide veterans time off for Veterans Day.

Chair Johnson moved that HF 2447 be re-referred to the General Register.

Chair Johnson moved that HF 2447 be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2926 (Carlson) Public Employment Relations Board created.

Chair Johnson moved that HF 2926 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways & Means.

Chair Johnson moved the A14-0923 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
