MINUTES

Representative Sheldon Johnson, Chair of the Labor, Workplace, and Regulated Industries Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:22 A.M. on March 12, 2014, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Benson moved that the minutes of March 6, 2014 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2736 (Erickson, R.) Broadband service mapping money appropriated.

Chair Johnson moved that HF 2736 be re-referred to the Committee on Jobs and Economic Development Finance and Policy.

Chair Johnson moved that HF 2736 be re-referred to the Committee on Jobs and Economic Development Finance and Policy. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2373 (Moran) Pay equity compliance certificates required as a condition for some state contracts, data classified, report required, and money appropriated.

Chair Johnson moved that HF 2373 be re-referred to the Committee on Civil Law.

Chair Johnson moved the H2373A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Sundin assumed the gavel at 9:42 A.M.

HF 2767 (Johnson, S.) Telecommunications antiquated, unnecessary, redundant, or obsolete laws eliminated, and conforming changes made.

Chair Johnson moved that HF 2767 be re-referred to the Committee on Commerce and Consumer Protection Finance and Policy.

Chair Johnson moved the H2767A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Johnson moved to orally amend HF 2767 as follows:
Delete Section 1 and Section 2. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
