Chair Mahoney called the meeting to order at 12:34 PM, Tuesday, March 11, 2014 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll; and a quorum was present.

Chair Mahoney moved HF2059 (McNamar) and recommended it to be re-referred to Capital Investment.
Testifiers: Amanda Duerr, Coalition of Greater MN Cities; Steve Nasby, Windom City Administrator; Kelcey Klemm, Perham City Manager; and Clay Wilfahrt, Winsted City Administrator.
Chair Mahoney re-called the meeting to order with a quorum at 12:50 pm.
Chair Mahoney renewed the motion to recommend HF2059 (McNamar) to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Capital Investment. Motion prevailed.
Rep. Uglem moved HF2762 (Uglem), with the A14 amendment, and recommend that it be re-referred to Government Operations.
Rep. Newton moved to approve the March 4 and March 6 minutes. Motion prevailed.
Testifier: Gina Stauss, MN Board of Cosmetology.
Chair Mahoney moved HF2762, as amended, to be passed and re-referred to Government Operations. Motion prevailed.
Chair Mahoney moved to recommend HF2778 (Persell) to be re-referred to the committee on Taxes. Motion prevailed.
Testifier: Paul Cassidy, Stinson Leonard Street; Jeff Ziarko, Enhance Capital; and Lorrie Louder, St. Paul Port Authority.
Rep. Ward moved to recommend that HF2586 (Ward) be laid over for possible inclusion on the omnibus bill.
