MINUTES

Representative Liebling, Chair of Committee on Health and Human Services Policy, called the meeting to order at 9:11 am March 7, 2014 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

The committee recessed at 9:11 am.
The committee reconvened at 9:33 am.

Representative Schoen moved HF2649 (Schoen) to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Policy Omnibus Bill. Representative Schoen moved the H2649 amendment. Motion prevailed. Amendment adopted.

HF2649 (Schoen) was laid over as amended for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Policy Omnibus Bill.

Representative Ward moved that HF2523 (Ward) be recommended to be re-referred to the Government Operations Committee.

Representative Ward presented information on HF2523 and the following individuals testified:

Representative Ward renewed her motion that HF2523 be recommended to be re-referred to the Government Operations Committee. Motion prevailed.

Representative Loeffler moved that HF2772 (Loeffler) be recommended to be re-referred to the Commerce and Consumer Protection Finance and Policy Committee.

Representative Loeffler presented information on HF2772 and the following individuals testified:

Representative Huntley moved that HF2656 (Huntley) be recommended to be re-referred to the Civil Law Committee.

Representative Huntley moved the H2656DE1 amendment. Randall Chun, House Research, provided further information on the amendment. Representative Huntley incorporated the oral amendment to H2656DE1 as follows: On line 3.30 remove the “?” and insert a “.”. Motion prevailed. Amendment adopted.

Representative Loeffler moved that HF2258 (Loeffler) be recommended to be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Committee.

Representative Loeffler renewed her motion that HF2258 (Loeffler) be recommended to be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Committee. Motion prevailed.

Representative Schoemacker moved the minutes of February 25 and February 26, 2014. Motion prevailed. Minutes adopted. The committee recessed at 11:46 am.
The committee reconvened at 12:02 pm and Representative Schoen assumed the gavel.

Representative Liebling moved that HF2806 (Liebling) be re-referred to the Commerce and Consumer Protection Finance and Policy Committee.

Representative Liebling moved the H2806A1 amendment. Motion prevailed. Amendment adopted.

Representative Liebling moved the H2806A2 amendment. Motion prevailed. Amendment adopted.
