HOUSE HEALTH CARE AND HUMAN SERVICES FINANCE COMMITTEE

Chair Thomas Huntley called to order the thirty-third meeting of the Health Care and Human Services Finance Committee at 10:10 a.m. in Room 200 of the State Office Building on Tuesday, April 9, 2013. A quorum was present. The committee legislative assistant noted the roll:

HF 767 (Morgan) - Department of Human Services Continuing Care Omnibus Policy Bill.
Chair Huntley moved HF 767 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Rules. The motion prevailed.
At 10:10 a.m. Vice Chair Norton took the gavel.
HF 1233 (Huntley) - Omnibus Health and Human Services Finance bill
Representative Huntley moved HF 1233, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means, and further moved adoption of the A13-0408 delete all amendment. The motion prevailed. The A13-0408 delete everything amendment was adopted.
Representative Huntley gave a brief overview of the bill and fiscal staff, Doug Berg, explained the Department of Human Services portion and the Health Department portion of the spreadsheet.
Representative Schomacker moved approval of the April 4 and April 5, 2013 minutes. The motion prevailed.
At 11:25 a.m. Vice Chair Norton announced a recess until 2:15 p.m. in Room 5.

At 2:40 p.m. Vice Chair Norton called the meeting back to order in Room 118 of the Capitol.

Representative Huntley made closing comments on the A13-0408 amendment. Vice Chair Norton announced the timeline for the committee's work for the remainder of the week and adjourned the meeting at 3:45 p.m.
