MINUTES

Representative Lesch, Chair of Committee on Civil Law, called the meeting to order at 8:17 AM on April 16, 2013 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Lesch moved minutes from March 21, 2013. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

HF1780 (Huntley) Miscellaneous data practices and civil law provisions related to health and human services policy.

Chair Lesch moved HF1780 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Rules.

Representative Huntley and Emily Cleveland from House Research presented HF1780.

Chair Lesch laid over an amendment to HF1780 (see attached H1780A2).

Chair Lesch renewed the motion to move HF1780 be recommended to pass, as amended, and be re-referred to the Committee on Rules. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF338 (Bly) Eminent domain provisions modified with respect to electric power utilities, and property rights ombudsman established.

HF1756 (Holber) Safete at Home address confidentiality program data handling regulated.
