MINUTES

Representative Holberg, Chair of the Ways and Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 6:20 P.M. on May 9, 2011, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Holberg officially called the meeting to order at 6:26 P.M. A quorum was present.

HF984 (Hackbarth): Game and fish; aquaculture provisions modified; compensation and assistance provisions for crop damage by elk modified; fish and wildlife management plan requirements modified; taking, possessing, and transporting wild animal provisions modified; acquisition procedures modified; penalty and license provisions modified; Board of Water and Soil Resources duties modified; and landowner liability for state walk-in access program limited.

Representative Hackbarth moved HF 984 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Representative Hackbarth renewed his motion that HF 984 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF650 (Kieffer): Driver education and examination provisions regulated relating to carbon monoxide poisoning, and technical changes made.

Representative McNamara moved HF 650 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections.

HF1362 (Kieffer): Workers' Compensation Advisory Council recommendations adopted, and duties, benefits, and requirements changed, rulemaking required, and money appropriated.

Representative Gunther moved HF 1362 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Representative Downey moved to orally amend the H0174A3 Amendment as follows:
