LEGACY FUNDING DIVISION

MINUTES

Representative Urdahl, Chair of the Legacy Funding Division Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:39pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2011, in the Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Winkler moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on Wednesday, February 23, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF499 (Davids) appropriating money for the Chatfield Center for the Arts.

Chair Urdahl moved that HF499 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Legacy Funding omnibus bill.

Chair Urdahl renewed the motion that HF499 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Legacy Funding omnibus bill.


HF450 (Cornish) appropriating money for rehabilitation of the Dodd Ford Bridge.

Representative Cornish moved that HF450 be heard and considered for possible inclusion in the Legacy Funding omnibus bill.

Chair Urdahl moved that HF450 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Legacy Funding omnibus bill.

HF105 (Dettmer) Disabled Veterans Rest Camp on Big Marine Lake matching grant funding provided to be used for improvements, and money appropriated.

Representative McNamara moved HF105 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Legacy Funding omnibus bill.

Representative McNamara moved the H0105A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Dill moved to amend HF105 as follows:

Page 1, Line 1.9, after "county" insert ", and a grant of $100,000 to Veterans of the Lake
located on Fall Lake in Fall Lake Township, St. Louis County"

THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Dill moved to amend HF105 as follows:

Chair Urdahl moved HF105, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the Legacy Funding omnibus bill.

HF160 (Drazkowski) Lake Zumbro and Schmidt Lake restoration funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Urdahl moved HF160 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Legacy Funding omnibus bill.
