MINUTES

Representative Lanning, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:20 a.m. on March 3, 2011, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Banaian was excused.

A quorum was present.

Representative Murray moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 2, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

David O'Fallon, President and CEO of the MN Humanities Commission presented an operations and budget overview of the Commission.

Attorney General Lori Swanson presented a budget overview of the Office of the Attorney General.

Secretary of State Mark Ritchie; Bert Black, Legal Advisor; and Beth Fraser, Director of Governmental Affairs presented a budget overview of the Office of the Secretary of State.

Dr. Eric Jolly, President of the Science Museum of Minnesota presented an operations and budget overview of the Science Museum.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:59 a.m.
