MINUTES

Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance Committee, called the twenty-third meeting to order at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2011, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

HF0474 (Smith) Fire safety account funds allocated.

The committee heard testimony on HF0474.

Representative McDonald moved that the minutes of March 9, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Smith moved that HF0474 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus finance bill.

HF0609 (Smith) Grants from fire safety account to local fire department authorized.

Representative Smith moved that HF0609 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus finance bill.

Representative Smith moved the H0609A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
