PUBLIC SAFETY AND CRIME PREVENTION POLICY AND FINANCE COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance Committee, called the eleventh meeting to order at 10:14 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

HF0180 (Peppin) Offenses committed near county lines permitted to be charged in either the county of the offense or the home county of the arresting law enforcement agency.

Representative Peppin and Daniel Buchholz, Hanover City Administrator, gave testimony on HF0180 and answered questions of the committee.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Johnson moved that the minutes of February 8, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chairman Cornish moved that HF0180 be passed and re-referred to the Judiciary Policy and Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:23 a.m.
