MINUTES
Representative McFarlane, Vice Chair of the Jobs and Economic Development Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:33 p.m. on March 8, 2011, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Representative Downey discussed HF288.
A quorum was present at 12:34 p.m.
Representative Leidiger moved HF 288 before committee to pass and be re-referred to the Tax Committee.
Representative Downey HF288 (Tax credit provided for investment in start-up and emerging Minnesota businesses).
Testifying before committee in favor of HF 288 was Paul Cassidy, and Michael Korengold, President of Enhanced Capital.
Representative Leidiger renewed his motion that HF 288 pass and be re-referred to the Tax Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Testifying before committee on behalf of the Department of Labor and Industry was Commissioner Ken Peterson.
Representative Mahoney moved to approve committee minutes of March 3, 2011. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
