HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES REFORM COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Abeler, of the Health and Human Services Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:32 P.M. on March 13, 2012, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Abeler began the meeting at 2:32 P.M. A quorum was not present.

Representative Abeler officially called the meeting to order at 2:34. A quorum was present.

HF 1236 (Hamilton) Pharmacy audit integrity program established.
Representative Abeler moved that HF1236 be recommend to pass and be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Abeler moved the A120555 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hamilton moved to orally amend the A2-005 amendment by P.4, L.4.26 "add" or any audit completed by Minnesota Health Care Programs.

Representative Abeler renewed his motion that HF1236, as amended, be recommended to pass and be sent to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2715 (Schomacker) Critical access nursing facility designation created and money appropriated.

Representative Mack moved that HF2715 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.

Representative Mack moved the H2715A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Mack renewed her motion that HF2715, as amended, be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2339 (Gottwalt) Health care compact created.

Representative Gottwalt moved that HF2339 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations.

Representative Gottwalt moved that HF2339 be recommended to pass. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Murphy moved that the minutes of March 6, 2012 be recommended to be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative McDonald announced that it was Representative Murphy's birthday. THE ANNOUNCEMENT WAS MET WITH A ROUND OF APPLAUSE AND BIRTHDAY WISHES.

HF 2061 (Downey) Group residential housing modified.

Representative Gottwalt moved that HF2061 be laid over.

Representative Gottwalt renewed his motion that HF2061 be laid over for possible inclusion in a Omnibus bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:47 P.M.
