Representative Abeler, Chair of the Health and Human Services Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:33 P.M. on February 10, 2011, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Paul Grundy, M.D., M.P.H., Director of Healthcare, Technology and Strategic Initiatives for IBM's Global Well being Services and Health Benefits, Jeff Schiff, M.D., M.B.A., Medical Director, Minnesota Department of Human Services, Scott Leitz, Assistant Commissioner, Health Care Administration, Department of Human Services, Marie Maes-Voreis, Minnesota Department of Health, Health Care Homes, and Ross Owen, Manager, Care Delivery Reform, Minnesota Department of Human Services, presented an overview on Accountable Care Organizations.
Terry Carrol, Chief Innovation Officer & Chief Technology Officer, Fairview Health Systems, Amy Burt, D.O. Pediatrics, Park Nicollet Clinic, Ingrid Yelkin, M.D. Family Medicine, Park Nicollet Clinic, Kristen Kopski, M.D. Ph.D. Internal Medicine, Park Nicollet Clinic, presented an overview on Medical Homes.
Representative Kiffmeyer moved the minutes from the committee meeting on February 8, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Michael Scandrett, President, LPaC Alliance; Policy Counsel, Minnesota Association of County Health Plans, Jim Pryzbilla, Chief Executive Officer, PrimeWest Health, Brett Skyles, Chief Executive Officer, Itasca Medical Care, Leota Lind, Chief Operations Officer, South Country Health Alliance, presented an overview on County Based Purchasing.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:22 P.M.
