MINUTES
Representative Abeler, Chair of the Health and Human Services Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:34 P.M. on January 11, 2011, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Michael Scandrett, President, Law, Policy and Consulting Alliance presented an overview of the principles of the Health and Human Services budgeting and program reform.
Representative Kiffmeyer assumed the gavel at 1:17 P.M.
Mary Krinkie, Vice President, Government Relations, Minnesota Hospital Association, Paul Olson, Manager, Payment Policy, Minnesota Department of Human Services, and Steve Masson, Rates Policy Specialist, Minnesota Department of Human Services presented an overview of hospital funding.
Representative Abeler assumed the gavel at 2:12 P.M.
Representative Hamilton moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on January 5, 2011, be approved. The minutes were approved as corrected.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:18 P.M.
