GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS AND ELECTIONS COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Peppin, Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Committee, called the sixty fifth meeting to order at 9:02 a.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2012, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative O’Driscoll moved that the minutes of April 3, 2012 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1774 (Kriesel) Fireworks personal use authorized.

Representative Peppin moved that HF1774 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Rules Committee.

Chair Peppin moved the H1774A4 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED, AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Winkler moved the H1774A6 amendment. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.

Representative Winkler moved the H1774A5 amendment. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.

The committee heard testimony on HF1774, as amended.
