Representative Denny McNamara, Chair of the Committee on Environment, Energy and Natural Resources called the eighth meeting to order at 8:16 a.m. on January 26, 2011, in the Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Commissioner Aasen, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, introduction to committee members.
Representative Hackbarth assumed the gavel at 9:12 a.m.
Tim Scherkenbach, Assistant Commissioner of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, gave an overview of the Agency.
Representative Hancock moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on January 25, 2011 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:01 a.m.
