MINUTES

Representative Garofalo, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:30 p.m. on February 14, 2012, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Greiling moved that the minutes of February 09, 2012 be adopted.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1264 (Hancock) Red Lake; Independent School District No. 38 facilities renovation and construction funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Representative Garofalo moved HF1264 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Capital Investment.

Representative Dave Hancock presented HF1264.

Representative Garofalo laid over HF1264 for later consideration or possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

HF2109 (Hancock) Independent School District No. 38, Red Lake; facility construction and renovation funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Representative Garofalo moved HF2109 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Capital Investment.

HF2078 (Dittrich) Nonpublic pupil textbook aid expanded.

Representative Dittrich moved HF2078 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Denise Dittrich presented HF2078.

Representative Dittrich renewed her motion that HF2078 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the General Register.

HF2036 (Garofalo) Permanent school fund district allocation increases required to be reserved for school technology purposes.

Representative Garofalo moved HF2036 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Garofalo laid over HF2036 for later consideration or possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

HF2075 (Dittrich) Permanent school fund revenue required to be set aside for school technology purposes.

Representative Garofalo moved HF2075 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Garofalo laid over HF2075 for later consideration or possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative Garofalo adjourned the meeting at 1:48 p.m.
