Representative Michael V. Nelson, Chair of the Local Government Division, called the ninth meeting to order at 4:35 P.M. on March 16, 2009, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

A quorum was present

Representative Nelson moved approval of HF519 before the committee to pass and be re-referred to the State & Local Government Operations Reform, Technology & Elections Committee

HF898 (Hornstein): Greenhouse gas reduction goals and strategies added to various state and metropolitan programs and plans, goals established for per capita reduction in vehicle miles traveled to reduce greenhouse gases and money transferred.

Representative Hornstein moved approval of HF898 before the committee to pass and be re-referred to the State & Local Government Operations Reform, Technology & Elections Committee
