Representative Mahoney, Chair of the Bioscience and Workforce Development Policy and Oversight Division called the meeting to order at 10:30 A.M. on January 21, 2009 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Winkler moved approval of the Minutes from the January 20, 2009 meeting. MOTION PREVAILED AND MINUTES ARE APPROVED.
Representative Obermueller assumed the Chair.
Presenting an overview of the Department of Employment and Economic Development goals and programs were:
Mark Lofthus, Business and Community Development Division Director
Bonnie Elsey, Workforce Development Division Director
Lee Nelson, Unemployment Insurance Legal Affairs Director
Charles Hamilton, Director for Services for the Blind.
The Committee was adjourned at 12:00 P.M.
