Representative Paul Thissen, Chair of the Health Care and Human Services Policy and Oversight Committee, called the meeting to order at 3:20 P.M. on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Gardner moved that the minutes of February 24, 2010 and February 25, 2010 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2969 (Ruud) Health licensing technical provisions modified.

Representative Thao moved the adoption of the HF2969 division report. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Ruud moved that HF2969 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the General Register.

Representative Ruud renewed her motion that HF2969 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2995 (Tillberry) Diagnosis qualifications of attention deficit disorder or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder expanded.

Representative Thao moved the adoption of the HF2995 division report. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Thao moved that HF2995 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on K-12 Education Policy and Oversight.

Representative Thao renewed his motion that HF2995 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on K-12 Education Policy and Oversight. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1503 (Abeler) Massage therapist licensure and fees established, and penalties provided.

Representative Thao moved the adoption of the HF1503 division report. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Abeler moved that HF1503 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Commerce and Labor.

HF3088 (Hayden) Children and family service technical and policy provisions changed, Minnesota family investment program and adult supports provisions changed, and child welfare provisions changed.

Representative Hayden moved that HF3088 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Civil Justice.
