Chair Thomas Huntley called the thirtieth meeting of the Health Care and Human Services Finance Division to order at 1:07 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

Representative Murphy moved approval of the April 7, 2009, minutes. The motion prevailed.
HF 266 (Fritz) - Parental fees modified for services for persons with developmental disabilities.
Representative Fritz moved HF 266 be recommended to pass and returned to the Committee on Finance and further moved adoption of the
H0266A1 amendment. The motion prevailed.
Discussion occurred and Rep. Fritz renewed her motion that HF 266, as amended, be recommended to pass and returned to the Committee on Finance. The motion prevailed.
HF 384 (Thissen) - Technology standards and tools developed to exchange information electronically between groups
Representative Thissen moved HF 384 be recommended to pass and returned to the Committee on Finance and further moved adoption of the
H0384DE2 amendment. Discussion of the amendment occurred. Testifying to the delete all amendment:

Representative Thissen moved the following oral amendment be incorporated into the H0384DE2 amendment:
Page 7, line 7.20, after (3) insert "nonprofit" and delete "eligible for rural hospital capital improvement grants, as defined"
Page 7, line 7.21, delete "in section 144.148" and insert before the semi-colon "licensed under sections 144.50 through 144.56"

The motion prevailed and discussion continued.
Representative Thissen renewed his motion that HF 384, as amended, be recommended to pass and returned to the Committee on Finance. The motion prevailed.
The Chair announced the delay of the Division’s omnibus bill due to continued unavailability of necessary fiscal notes.
Chair Huntley adjourned the meeting at 2:12 p.m.
