Representative Nora Slawik, Chair of the Early Childhood Finance & Policy Division, called the meeting to order at 4:38 pm on Thursday, February 25, 2010 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Presentation on "Life Course Development: How Early Childhood Experiences Affect Health and Life Trajectories Across the Lifespan":

Dr. Robert Anda, Senior Scientific Consultant, Centers for Disease Control

Dr. Anda was asked the question: Are criminal behavior and sexual offenses tied with adverse childhood experiences?

Presentation on "The Well-being and Vulnerabilities of Children Age 3 and Younger in Minnesota":

Dr. Richard Chase, Senior Research Scientist, Wilder Research
