Representative Bill Hilty, Chair, called the twenty-fifth meeting to order at 6:42 PM on April 2, 2009 in the Basement hearing room of the State office Building.

Rep. Hackbarth moved approval of the minutes of April 1, 2009. The motion prevailed.

HF1754 (Hilty) Energy or commerce projects and activities funding provided, money appropriated, assessments, audits, insurance, public utilities, cooperative electric associations, and municipal power agencies provisions modified.

The Chair moved that HF 1754 be recommended to pass and referred to the committee on Finance.

The Chair moved the A09-0328 amendment. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.

Ron, Soderberg, House Fiscal Analyst spoke to the bill.

The Chair moved the A09-0357X amendment. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.

HF863 (Hilty) Excess energy savings carry forward allowed by power companies, and conservation improvement program study required.

The Chair moved that HF863 be recommended to pass and returned to the committee on Finance.
