Representative Bill Hilty, Chair, called the twentieth meeting to order at 2:56 PM on March 25, 2009 in the Basement hearing room of the State office Building.

The Clerk noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Rep. Hackbarth moved approval of the minutes of March 23, 2009. The motion prevailed.

Rep. Hackbarth moved for reconsideration of HF1078 whereby HF1078 was recommended to pass. The motion prevailed.

Rep. Hackbarth moved the H1078A1 amendment. The motion prevailed. The amendment was passed.

Rep. Hilty moved the H1078A2 amendment. The motion prevailed. The amendment was passed.

Rep. Hilty renewed his motion that HF1078 as amended be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register. The motion prevailed. The amendment was passed.

HF680 (Kalin) Federal stimulus funding allocated for energy programs.

Rep. Kalin moved that HF680 be recommended to pass and be returned to the Committee on Finance.

Rep. Kalin moved the DE3 amendment. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.

Rep. Kalin moved the A11 amendment.

Rep. Kalin made the following oral amendment:

Line 3.22, after "renovations," insert "street lighting,"

The amendment was incorporated.

Members discussed the A11 amendment.

Rep. Kalin renewed his motion to adopt the H0680A11 amendment. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.

Rep. Westrom moved the H0680A12 amendment. The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted.

Rep. Obermueller moved the following oral amendment to the DE3 amendment.

Rep. Kalin renewed his motion that HF680 be recommended to pass as amended and be returned to the Committee on Finance and allow staff to make technical changes as needed. The motion prevailed. The bill was passed.
